We praise God for your desire to commit to the local church and ours in particular. We genuinely look forward to getting to know you better and hearing of God's grace and work in your life. Please note while not a law, we do encourage folks to have worshipped with us faithfully at least six months before joining as a member.

We know this is a sensitive question and want you to know in Christ there is full forgiveness for all your sins including sins that are crimes. The gospel is God's good news for sinners that in Christ, God has justified you in his heavenly courtroom by his grace alone. He has done this through the finished work of Christ on the cross and in His victorious resurrection. He lives and gladly intercedes for all who are His. Know we will not reduce you to your answer and know your acceptance into church membership is not contingent on this answer. Rather we want you to be able to honestly share this with us first as it is a matter of public record. We desire your honesty as it does help us pastorally care for you and your family more faithfully. We appreciate it and are glad to discuss more in person without you getting detail here.
